What to know about ORORO Women's Classic Heated Vest, FVC-41

The women's cut of Ororo's classic 4-zone vest (pockets, collar, mid-back), powered by the same 7.4V 35.4 Wh Mini 5K battery. Bob Vila called it the most versatile pick because it packs small and layers easily under a coat.

Editorial notes

Why it stands out

Why we like it

It shares the men's Classic's battery: 7.4V, 35.4 Wh, listed as UL, cUL, CE, FCC and RoHS certified. Ororo claims about 3, 6 and 10 hours on High, Medium and Low. Bob Vila tested it and called it the most versatile vest, since it packs small and layers under a coat.

It has a water-resistant nylon shell, is machine washable in cold water in a mesh bag, and has a 3-year element warranty.

What to know

Skip it if you need long High-setting runtime. The heated pockets can also get too warm for a phone.
