Why we like it

The spec sheet is the strongest of any in-stock truly wireless probe under $100. It has five internal sensors, Bluetooth 5.2 Long Range (250 ft in open air per MEATER support) and a stainless probe with a zirconia ceramic band. The high ambient rating means it can stay in during searing or over direct heat, where cheaper probes cannot.

Food Network named it Best for Serious Grilling in October 2026, and Engadget's review of the same probe, sold earlier as the MEATER 2 Plus, found it more precise and durable. The charger is bamboo with a magnetic back. Accuracy and range figures are manufacturer ratings rather than lab results.
